Cambridgeshire villages in the superfast spotlight

Take-up of high speed fibre broadband is well above average in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough showing the huge demand for faster Internet access from homes and businesses across the county.

The difference that high speed fibre broadband is making for people living in rural communities is shown in a series of short videos filmed in Spaldwick and Ellington villages, where over half the residents have upgraded to fibre.

The one-minute films show how having high speed Internet access means people can work, shop, study and socialise wherever they are. They are being used as part of the national Government superfast broadband roll-out campaign.
