Ultrafast broadband trial in Huntingdon

Connecting Cambridgeshire has welcomed BT’s plans to trial ultrafast broadband in Huntingdon this summer, putting the county at the forefront of innovation for faster connectivity.

Councillor Ian Bates, Chairman of the County Council’s Economy and Environment Committee, said: “We warmly welcome this exciting news that BT has chosen to trial ultra fast broadband in Cambridgeshire, putting the county at the forefront of innovation for faster connectivity, which is vital to our economy. This pioneering development builds upon the work we are already doing with BT to bring high speed fibre broadband to over 90,000 homes and businesses across the county by the end of this year.”
